Pikes Peak through the Siamese Twins.

What a difference 10 min makes at sunrise!!!!

These photos were taken just 10 min appart. The early morning sun causes the red color of the rocks to be brilliant and vibrant. Then 10 min later the diffuesd sun causes the brilliant blue sky of Colorado take over the photograph.
So which one to print?????

A student's family was nice enough to get up at sunrise and pose for this photograph. It is a photograph that I have had in my imagination for a while now. It is great to see it in print. There will only be 50 of this print sold.

The photograph was taken on 9/26/2009 at 6:28 am in the Black Forest area.

The photo was taken with the following settings: ISO-100, shutter speed of 1/10 of a second, and an aperture of f/5.6

Destin, Fl

This August I had the privilege of spending some time in Destin, FL to meet Judson's family. We had dinner on the wharf one night. Watching the sunset we waited for the perfect moment to take this photo.

This photo was taken on 8/15/2009 from the harbor docks in Destin, Fl. The photo was taken at ISO-100, 1/80 second shutter speed, Aperture F/5.6.

Shortly after the photo was taken a small rain came in and interrupted dinner.
